The Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Permanent Represantative to the International Organizations in Vienna, H.E. Mr. Alibek Bakayev invited to a concert of the ethno-folk ensemble „Turan“ on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Ehrbar Saal.
The Turan Ensemble is a Kazakh folk music band created in 2008 by students of the Kazakh National Conservatory. Wearing tradional Kazakh costumes on stage, the quintet usually plays popular folk instruments such as dombra, zhetigen, kobyz, sherter or shankobyz. They already had big successful tours in the United States and played several concerts in Europe representing their country.
