On the occasion of the visit of Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, H.E. Farhod Salim, Mag. Gertrud Tauchhammer, publisher of SOCIETY Magazine, and H.E. Idibek Kalandar, Ambassador of Tajikistan, invited to a festive reception under the motto “30 years of friendship between Tajikistan & Austria” with a presentation of the Tajikistan focus in the summer issue of SOCIETY Magazine, delicious traditional Tajik food from Plovhouse and the Embassy and a tree planting ceremony with H.E. Farhod Salim.
At the beautiful garden of Villa Flora, the guests listened to the welcome words by Mag. Gertrud Tauchhammer, the speech of Deputy Foreign Minister H.E. Farhod Salim and of Ambassador Gerhard Sailler (BMEIA). After that, a walnut tree from Tajikistan was planted and the latest issue of SOCIETY revealed.
