To celebrate the new summer issue of SOCIETY Magazin, as well as to welcome the new Ambassadors to Austria, SOCIETY publisher Mag. Gertrud Tauchhammer invited to a garden party at her beautiful garden in the Viennese woods.
Moderator Dr. Adrian Hollaender was the guide of the evening and introduced the new Ambassadors to Austria, after a welcome address by Mag. Bernhard Faustenhammer, Deputy Chief of Protocol of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.
The new Ambasadors: H.E. Manizha Bakhtari (Afghanistan), H.E. Muhammad Abdul Muhith (Bangladesh), H.E. Andrei Dapikunas, who was represented by the Deputy Head of Mission and Minister Councellor Andrei Lozovik (Belarus), H.E. Belen Constanza Sapag Munoz de la Pena (Chile), H.E. Mohamed El-Molla, who was represented by Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Hazem Zaki (Egypt), H.E. Philbert Albaka Johnson (Ghana), H.E. Suleiman Dauda Umar (Nigeria), H.E. Dario Ernesto Chiru Ochoa (Panama), H.E. Abat Fayzullaev (Uzbekistan) and H.E. Trung Kien Nguyen (Vietnam) received a special gift, which was presented to them by Mag. Gertrud and Mag. Tanja Tauchhammer.
After that, the new summer issue of SOCIETY Magazin with a focus on Portugal was unveiled by Mag. Gertrud and Tanja Tauchhammer, as well as the guest authors Kurt Seinitz and Hermine Schreiberhuber.
The Italian opera singer Alessandro Lora was the musical star of the evening, he presented his new CD ′′Hommage à Caruso”, which was dedicated to 100th death anniversary of the famous opera singer Enrico Caruso, to the international guests of the garden party.
Among the many participants were the Ambassadors of India, H.E. Jaideep Mazumdar, Israel, H.E. Mordechai Rodgold, Kosovo, H.E. Lulzim Pllana, Lithuania, H.E. Donatas Kuslys, Palestine, H.E. Salah Abdel Shafi and the new Chargé d’Affaires of the USA, Mr. Mario Mesquita.
