The Ambassador of Brazil, H.E. Jose Antonio Marcondes de Carvalho, the Museum in Progress and the Wiener Staatsoper invited to a festive opening of the „Safety Curtain“ 2021/22 by Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes. The Swiss curator, art historian, critic and publisher Bice Curiger spoke about the work of the renowned artist, the musical programme was provided by the Wiener Staatsoper Stage Orchestra and Martin Schläpfer created a short ballet choreography inspired by Beatriz Milhazes‘ Safety Curtain.
