SOCIETY publisher Gertrud Tauchhammer and the Chargé d’Affaires of Poland to Austria, Zenon Henryk Kosiniak Kamysz, invited to a festive reception on the occasion of the presentation of the new SOCIETY issue with a special focus on Poland. At the stunning historic building of the Embassy, the moderator of the evening, Rudolf Thaler, former Austrian Trade Delegate, led through the evening, that started with a welcome speech by Gertrud Tauchhammer, followed by words by the Deputy Chief of the Protocol, Christoph Meyenburg. Then, the newest issue was ceremoniously unveiled and presented to the guests. Afterwards, Chargé d’Affaires Zenon Henryk Kosiniak Kamysz held an inspiring speech, demonstrating the beautiful Polish tradition of sharing the „oplatek“ (Oblate or a very thin wafer). Last but not least, the musicians Jakub Leczycki (singer), Zuzanna Budzynska (violin) and Szymon Ogryzek (piano) enchanted the guests with Christmas songs. The christmassy evening ended with an extensive buffet with Polish delicacies.
