Diplomatic SOCIETY Magazine owner, KR Prof. Mag. Gertrud Tauchhammer in cooperation with H.E. Manizha Bakhtari, Ambassador of Afghanistan, H.E. Asadollah Eshragh Jahromi, Ambassador of Iran, and H.E. Idibek Kalandar, Ambassador of Tajikistan, invited to a special event under the motto „Eternal Echoes of the Farsi Speaking World: The Legacy of Cyrus the Great and Hafez Shirazi“. At the beautiful garden of Ms. Tauchhammer’s Villa Flora, numerous guests from all around the world gathered to celebrate the rich literary heritage that is still enchanting hearts across the globe.
They were welcomed by the moderator of the evening, Masiha Akrami, First Secretary of the Embassy of Afghanistan, who then passed the microphone to the host of the evening, Ms. Gertrud Tauchhammer, who thanked the participating Embassies for the cooperation in organizing the fourth event dedicated to the Farsi language. Then, the Afghan Ambassador, H.E. Manizha Bakhtari held an emotional speech followed by words of the Iranian Ambassador H.E. Asadollah Eshragh Jahromi and the Tajik Ambassador H.E. Idibek Kalandar. To round off the official part, musicians from Afghanistan, Iran and Tajikistan performed enchanting pieces of music.
Last but not least, the guests had the chance to see an impressive exhibition of handicrafts of the three countries and enjoy a buffet full of delicious traditional dishes.
