H.E. Omar Amer Youssef, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Mag. Gertrud Tauchhammer, publisher of SOCIETY Magazine, together with Prof. Dr. Amr Ibrahim Abdelraham Elatraby, Cultural Counsellor of the Arab Republic of Egypt, invited to the exhibition opening of „Visionäre Träume/Visionary Dreams“ by Abdelhamid Abdelgaffar at the Kunstforum Wien/Tresor. OStR Prof. Mag. Franz J. Fischerauer spoke about the exhibition and the work of the Egyptian artist, who lives in Austria since 1980. He studied economy and in his youth, he started painting with water colours. Later on, he made himself familiar with the art of graphical drawing.
The guests enjoyed the extraordinary art and spent a lovely evening whith a rich buffet of Egyptian specialities.
