Together with Prof. Mag. Gertrud Tauchhammer, Diplomatic SOCIETY Magazine owner, and the Malaysian Ambassador to Austria, H.E. Ikram Bin Mohd Ibrahim, numerous guests from the fields of diplomacy, politics, culture, economy, medicine, and more gathered in the beautiful garden of the Malaysian residence in Vienna to celebrate the new issue of Diplomatic SOCIETY Magazine with an extensive focus on Malaysia. After the guests were welcomed by moderator Dr. Rudolf Thaler, former Austrian Trade Delegate, Ambassador Ikram Bin Mohd Ibrahim gave a speech in which he highlighted the excellent relations between Austria and Malaysia and the wonderful cooperation with Diplomatic SOCIETY Magazine. Prof. Mag. Gertrud Tauchhammer then addressed the guests and also thanked the Malaysian Embassy for the excellent collaboration. The Deputy Head of the Protocol Department of the Austrian Foreign Ministry, Dr. Christoph Meyenburg, emphasized – among other things – the strong economic ties between Malaysia and Austria in his address. After the official part, the guests had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the garden with typical Malaysian delicacies and wonderful musical accompaniment by four string players.
