Mag. Gertrud TAUCHHAMMER, Publisher of SOCIETY Magazine, Thomas KOPP, CEO & Founder of 3LOG, Michael HABEL, Senior Sales Manager 3LOG and Hafen Wien invited to a Junior Diplomats Summer Break Event on the Danube steamer MS Eisvogel.
After a short get together with welcome drinks, deputies, ministers, diplomatic secretaries and other diplomatic staff from Afghanistan, Belarus, Dominican Republic, France, Ghana, Iran, Colombia, Malta, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Romania, Saudi Arabia and the USA (alphabetical order) enjoyed a unique roundtrip starting from the heart of Vienna’s port, at Hafenbecken Freudenau. After crossing the harbour gate (Hafentor Freudenau), the tour led towards Ölhafen Lobau, past the offices of a number of oil companies. Then, we visited the Hafen Albern with its heavy-lift centre and its five impressive grain silos.
After a long period without events due to Covid-19 restrictions, the young diplomats enjoyed networking and exchanging ideas and experiences, all in accordance with the 3G rule.
