Opening of the Madlena Art Palace in Belgrade

Upon the invitation of Zepter International, SOCIETY Magazine had the great pleasure to be part of the
opening gala of the „Madlena Art Palace“ in the Serbian capital Belgrade.
Carefully collected by Madlena Zepter, founder of Zepter International alongside her husband Philip Zepter, the contents of the new impressive Madlena Art Palace are a unique accumulation of art, crafts, historical artefacts and much more. „The Madlena Art Palace is in a certain sense a monument to my aspirations, to me, Madlena Zepter, the sum of my life labours, a legacy for the future, with which my husband and I set a brilliant finisihng touch to a number of achievements“, Mrs. Zepter stated in her opening speech. The gala opening of the Palace on September 19, 2022 was accompanied by an exhibition of fancifully designed chairs and sculptures by the world-renowned visual artist from Italy,
Carla Tolomeo, with the title „Would You Like To Be Seated on a Work of Art?“ and outstanding music performances by international (opera) singers, amongst them Austrian singer Marika Lichter, and a stunning performance by synchronized swimmers.

The new Madlena Art Palace is an exclusive space for events, artistic achievements and creative personalities, a multimedia space consisting of several levels,
adapted for the realization of multiple parallel gallery programmes, from a chamber theatre to video showings, promotions, expert conferences, symposiums
and the Zepter art collection on permanent display.

One thing is for sure:
There is no place like the Madlena Art Palace with its impressive architecture
and even more impressive contents, providing not only Belgrade with an
important space for art and culture.
