On the occasion of the presentation of the new issue of Diplomatic SOCIETY with a special focus on “Amazing Thailand”, Publisher of Diplomatic SOCIETY KR Prof. Mag. Gertrud Tauchhammer and Ambassador of Thailand to Austria, H.E. Pattarat Hongtong, invited to a “Make and Taste – Thai Appetizer Workshop” at the beautiful Thai Residence.
After the speeches of H.E. Hongtong, KR Prof. Mag. Tauchhammer and Deputy Chief of the Protocol Department of the Austrian Ministry for European and International Affairs, Mag. Christoph Meyenburg, the guests had the chance to “make and taste” their own creations of Cho Muang – a purple savory dumpling – and Toong Thong – a crisp golden money bag – as well as other delicious Thai dishes prepared by the Embassy’s chef. From Mango Sticky Rice to Beef Salad – the event offered an authentic journey through the heart and soul of Thai cuisine and hospitality.
