Diplomatic SOCIETY: “Nowruz – Traditional Spring Celebration”

Publisher and owner of Diplomatic SOCIETY, KR Prof. Mag. Gertrud Tauchhammer and Editor-in-Chief Mag. Tanja Tauchhammer invited to the traditional reception “Ambassadors and Friends of Diplomatic SOCIETY” under the motto “Nowruz – Traditional Spring Celebration” at beautiful Grand Hotel Wien. Nowruz festivities signify peace and a cheerful togetherness, which the numerous international guests felt throughout the event. The participating Embassies from Afghanistan (H.E. Manizha Bakhtari), Azerbaijan (H.E. Rovshan Sadigbayli), Iran (First Secretary Abbas Yazdani), Iraq (Chargé d’Affaires Hindreen Ali Mustafa), Kazakhstan (H.E. Mukhtar Tileuberdi), Kyrgysztan (H.E. Tolendy Makeyev), Pakistan (H.E. Mohammad Kamran Akhtar Malik), Russia (H.E. Dmitrii Liubinskii), Tajikistan (H.E. Idibek Kalandar), Turkmenistan (H.E. Hemra Amannazarov) and Uzbekistan (H.E. Bakhtiyor Ibragimov) prepared wonderful traditional Nowruz tables showcasing impressive handicraft and typical Nowruz utensils. After the official part – skilfully moderated by former Trade Delegate Rudolf Thaler – with speeches by host Gertrud Tauchhammer and all participating Ambassadors, the buffet was opened.

The journey ended with musical interventions by Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, Russian Federation,Tajikistan and Turkmenistan who enchanted the guests with traditional music and dances.
