The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Vienna and the University of Vienna invited to a Gamelan and Dance Performance under the motto „An Ancient Cultural Heritage of Indonesia“ taking place at the campus of Vienna University. Visitors of the event had the possibility to enjoy Pendet Dance performances by Balinese women accompanied by Gamelan music (performed by the Gamelan Group Altenberg), as well as many other traditional Indonesian music and dance.
The opening remarks were held by H.E. Dr. Darmansjah Djumala, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia and Prof. Dr. Stephan Müller, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Philological and Cultural Studies of Vienna University.
