Austria has provided a substantial number of education scholarships, apprenticeships and trainings for Afghan refugees. Austria has supported a number of our people in assisting them to achieve the necessary qualifications for a variety of professions.“ Addressing the Afghan people living here in Austria, she emphasized to be grateful, get educated, polish their skills and contribute. „My message to our friends in the United Nations office in Vienna is that we appreciate your efforts, cooperation and passion for Afghanistan.“ She concluded that „Afghanistan’s Independence Day is not only a date but a new commitment for friendship, support and contribution to the peace and prosperity of Afghanistan and world community.“
